South Africa developed 3CR12 is a 12% Cr containing ferrite stainless steel, equivalent to the European 1.4003 grade, is a substitute for coated carbon steel, weathering steel and aluminum economic ferrite stainless steel. It has a simple manufacturing process, the use of conventional welding technology welding characteristics, in recent years has been widely used.
Features and scope of application:
3Cr12 is a kind of weldable ultra low carbon body stainless steel made in the 20th century. It has a moderate corrosion resistance, moderate strength, good solderability (welding thickness of up to 30MM), no hardened, with magnetic, with resistance to wet grinding and sliding. Is a widely recognized by the world economy of stainless steel. Because of its good performance, so far, widely used in transportation, transportation, petrochemical, structural, sugar and mining and other different industrial areas.
Can be used for the production: motor vehicles, chassis, hopper, conveyor belt, net sieve, trough, coal bunkers, containers and cans, chimneys, ducts, enclosures, cabinets, sidewalks, stairs, tracks and so on.
